Dragons have now gone. The waiting for the third season of ‘House of the Dragon’ has started. In the meantime, and in the avoidance of any post-Summer / post-Dragons / post-Holidays depression, it’s comforting  to realize there is a lot to watch to come.

We pretty much all loved ‘The Batman’, from filmmaker Matt Reevers, starring Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz and Colin Farrell. Well, speaking about that movie and that latter actor, a sequel to the film following the mobster ‘The Penguin’, produced by HBO, will land on Sky by September 20. It’s great to come back to Gotham, it’s great to keep delving into that dark and rainy city. The 8-episodes crime-drama series would satisfy any Sopranos or DC Universe fan, filled as much of mafia’s series and movies DNA than Batman and DC tormented rear alleys.

Another iconic character will return by end of September. Daryl Dixon will keep his French journey in the second season of the Walking Dead’s spinoff, reuniting with his dearest friend Carol. Daryl Dixon : The book of Carol will open on September 30.

In October, Kit Harrington will be back ! But not as Jon Snow … It would have been a potential Game of Thrones’ spinoff – until it’s been cancelled. Kit is not upset with HBO though, deciding to join the cast of the third season of Industry. A great show, well reviewed but not as known as it should. Let’s hop Kit gives it a kick ! Industry is the teenage son of ‘’Succession’’, or the wealthier cousin of ‘’Euphoria’’. It follows the raise of a few young graduate starting to work in the City, heart of the London finance. We speak big money, power struggles, young adult relationships, sex, drugs and stock options. Euphoria will definitely meet Succession on October 30.

You all loved him in ‘’Fantastic Beasts’’ and ‘’The Theory of Everything’’ (Best Actor Oscar winner): Eddie Redmayne stars as a ruthless enigmatic assassin in The Day of the Jackal, a thrilling Sky Original production also starring Lashana Lynch (No Time to Die) and Ursula Corbero (Money Heist). As of November 7, only on Sky Show.

A few days later, you will enjoy Yellowstone season 5’ new episodes – 6 episodes left before saying goodbye to Kevin Costner as John Dutton, owner of the largest ranch in Montana. As of November 11.

After the triumph of the two Dune movies from director Denis Villeneuve starring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, here comes the first series from the Dune universe : Dune: Prophecy. Set 10’000 years before the events of the movie, the series follows sisters Valya and Tula Harkonnen as they combat forces that threaten the future of humanity, and establish the fabled sect known as the Bene Gesserit. As of November 18, exclusively on Sky Show.

For the cinema lovers, the end of the year is going to be action-packed and star-studded, with no less than Dune – Part Two (Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya), Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Kung Fu Panda 4, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth) and The Fall Guy (Emily Blunt, Ryan Gosling), all released from September to December onwards.

A hell of a fall season for any series or movies lover !
