30 December 2025

The partnership between Sky and Warner/HBO will come to an end on December 31th, 2025. This means that some content will no longer be available as of January 1st,  2026.

Don’t worry: You’ll still be able to follow the latest HBO series you’re already watching on Sky Show.

Which HBO content will be leaving?

As of January 1st 2026, the following content will leave Sky Show:

  • Part of the HBO catalogue, specifically completed series and older seasons, such as Game of Thrones, Sex and the City, Westworld, or The Sopranos.
  • Warner movies will no longer be part of the Sky Show catalogue.

Which HBO content will remain on Sky Show?

You will continue to have access to the latest seasons of ongoing HBO series, including:

  • House of the Dragon
  • The Last of Us
  • The White Lotus
  • True Detective
  • Additional titles may remain available season by season, depending on rights.

Will I be able to watch upcoming seasons of these series?

Yes. Sky Show retains the rights to upcoming seasons of several HBO series already available on the platform, including:

  • Euphoria Season 3, available as of April 2026
  • House of the Dragon Season 3
  • The White Lotus Season 4
  • The Last of Us Season 3
  • Dune: Prophecy Season 2
  • IT: Welcome to Derry Season 2

You’ll therefore be able to keep watching these series directly on Sky Show.

Why do some seasons remain available while others don’t?

This depends on licensing rights. In some cases, Sky Show can offer new seasons but not older ones. We always aim to provide the most complete series experience possible.

Where can I find the HBO series leaving Sky Show?

Even after they leave Sky Show, all HBO and Warner series and movies remain available on the Sky Store, where you can purchase them at any time.
