Back at East High, back on the winding paths of life with Rue (Zendaya) and the others: a group of teenage friends grapples with questions about the power of faith, the possibility of redemption, and the problem of evil.
In the new season, the main cast includes Emmy winner Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Golden Globe nominee Jacob Elordi, Emmy nominee Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Emmy nominee Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Toby Wallace.
Returning guest stars this season include Emmy winner Colman Domingo, Grammy nominee Dominic Fike, Nika King, Alanna Ubach, Sophia Rose Wilson, Melvin “Bonez” Estes, Daeg Faerch, Paula Marshall, Zak Steiner, and Marsha Gambles. New guest appearances include Emmy winner Sharon Stone and Grammy winner ROSALÍA.
The creator, writer, director, and executive producer of Euphoria is Emmy nominee and DGA Award winner Sam Levinson. The HBO series is produced in partnership with A24.
The third season was shot on a new KODAK motion picture film stock, both in 35mm and 65mm. Series creator Sam Levinson and Emmy-winning cinematographer Marcell Rév worked closely with Kodak to showcase the new film format across both gauges.
As a result, the third season is the first narrative TV series to be filmed extensively on 65mm film, offering an expanded visual scope on screen that reflects the characters’ journey from high school into the wider, wilder world.
