A bumpy road to self-discovery and overcoming grieve: “The Five Star Weekend” premieres on Sky Show on July 25. All eight episodes of the drama series, starring Jennifer Garner, Regina Hall, and Chloë Sevigny, will then be available to stream.
The drama series follows Hollis Shaw (Jennifer Garner), a renowned chef and bestselling author known for her exquisite recipes, exceptional taste, and warm personality. After Shaw grieves a devastating loss and is unable to continue as before, the death exposes the cracks in Hollis’s seemingly perfect life: her strained marriage, her complicated relationship with her daughter, and her growing need for recognition from her fans. To overcome her grief and rediscover herself, Hollis decides to host a special weekend at her home on Nantucket. She invites three friends from different stages of her life: from her childhood, her twenties, her thirties, and a fifth surprise guest. Against the backdrop of a luxurious coastal landscape, the guests will grow in ways they never imagined—as boundaries are pushed and secrets are revealed…
