Lindy and Les Littlejohn (Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen) literally have different perspectives on their marital problems: In a botched experiment, scientist Les accidentally shrunk his wife to the size of a Lego figure—and in doing so, turned the power dynamic in their relationship on its head. Until now, Les has lived in the shadow of Lindy, the successful author of a partly autobiographical novel who won the Pulitzer Prize. He’s experimenting with a revolutionary technology to solve the world’s food problems. But instead of food, he’s shrunk his wife—and promptly put her in a dollhouse for safekeeping. Restoring her to her normal size could endanger her life. And perhaps Les even enjoys being in control this way?
